From I.H.A.C to Xtreme Golf -- two decades in development and design! ...

The summer of 1988 marked the 12th anniversary of our graduations from high school.  A couple of guys with time on their hands, organized a golf tournament. as a way to re-connect with old classmates, and to rub a little salt in the wounds of dormant-but-never-dead scholastic sports rivalries.   

Surprisingly, lots of folks showed up at Heritage CC (oxford, MA) for that.  Each of the city's four public high schools, was represented.  There were a million laughs, too much beer, and a small dose of acceptable golf.  Thus was born the annual Inter-High Athletic Club Golf Classic (I.H.A.C.).  Still going strong, 2009 was our 22nd consecutive.

To "class" things up for '03 (finally!), I designed the official I.H.A.C. logo.  My initial sketches, and the final logo, as well as the '03 hat, '04 shirt, and '05 towel are pictured below.  Little did I know, that this classic I.H.A.C. memorobilia would be the genesis of Xtreme Golf Gear.
